台湾宜兰大学王金燦教授访问城市环境研究所

应中国科学院城市污染物转化重点实验室和赵峰研究组邀请,台湾宜兰大学王金燦教授及台湾成功大学苗君易教授于3月26号访问城市环境研究所,并做了题为“Flow control in microbial fuel cells”的学术报告。学术报告会由肖勇副研究员主持。
王教授在报告中详细介绍了流体控制技术在微生物燃料电池中的应用,通过设计仿生型流道来减小微生物燃料电池中的浓度极化,并使极化过程滞后发生,通过对边界层的控制来减少微生物燃料电池运行过程中的欧姆内阻。王教授就流体力学的角度来解决微生物燃料电池存在的库伦效率低下的问题,通过建模的方式来模拟微生物电子传递过程等方面的内容做了详细介绍,并与参会人员展开了热烈讨论。
专家简介:Professor Wang was born in 1970 and graduated from the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan with BS, MS and PhD qualifications undertaken between 1992 to 2000. He currently works at National I Lan University, Taiwan. As for his present areas of study related to green technology, innovative biometric flow design, micro fluidic devices, optimal flow slab design of fuel cells, microbial fuel cells and bio-energy are the major fields. There are about 70 journal papers, 11 patents, 2 book chapter author and 1 book editor contributions that can be attributed to his research performance to date. In addition, Professor Wang was awarded the honor of University Distinguished Professor in 2011 and presented with a National Academic Award in 2013 until now.
